Welcome to AutoBlot Studio
Your dashboard is the home base for all your work. From here you can open existing analyses, start new ones, organise your work into folders, and manage your account.
Start a new analysis. Click + New analysis (top right) to open the Image Editor with a blank workspace.
Open an existing analysis. Click any analysis card to reopen it in the Image Editor.
Organise with folders. Click New folder to group related analyses together.
Unsaved draft banner
If you were working on an analysis and closed the tab before saving, AutoBlot detects the local draft and shows a Resume banner at the top of the dashboard. Click Resume to go straight back to your work, or Discard to clear it.
Navigation
Analyses
Your saved analyses. Click a card to open it. Right-click for rename, move to folder, or delete options.
Lab Book Pro
A structured scientific notebook. Write pages with live KaTeX equations, OCR-scan printed text, embed blot data, run calculators, and e-sign records. Single-toolbar interface for a clean workspace.
Stats Suite Pro
Statistical analysis tool — t-tests, ANOVA, dose–response curves, Kaplan–Meier, and publication-ready graphs. Band intensity data can be sent directly from the Analysis Suite.
Integrity Checker Lab
Detects signs of image manipulation — cloning, splicing, and contrast abuse — across your blot images.
Managing analyses
Open
Click any analysis card to reopen it in the Image Editor. All lanes, bands, and settings are restored exactly as you left them.
Rename
Right-click an analysis card and choose Rename, or click the analysis name to edit it inline.
Delete
Right-click a card and choose Delete. Deletion is permanent — download a ZIP first if you want a backup.
Download ZIP
Select analyses using the checkboxes (select mode) then use the download button to export a ZIP with CSV data and figure images.
Sort & filter
Use the sort menu in the analyses header to order by date modified, date created, or name. The search bar at the top searches across all analysis names instantly.
List vs grid view
Toggle between list view (compact rows) and grid view (image preview cards) using the view switcher buttons in the analyses section header. Grid view shows a thumbnail preview of each figure.
Organising with folders
Folders let you group related analyses — by project, experiment type, or date. Folders are synced to your account so they're available on any device.
Click New folder to create a folder. Give it a name and colour.
Right-click an analysis and choose Move to folder to assign it.
Click a folder card to open it and see only the analyses inside.
Use the breadcrumb at the top to navigate back to all analyses.
Subfolders
When inside a folder, click New subfolder to create a nested folder. Use this to organise large projects with multiple experiments.
Free tier
Free accounts include: up to 5 blot images per analysis, full band detection and densitometry, CSV data export, and 1 full-resolution export per month (journal quality, no watermark). The export counter resets on the 1st of each month.
