• Payment information — billing details are processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
• Image and analysis data — western blot images and analysis results you upload and save within the application.

We also collect limited technical data automatically:

• Pages visited and features used (aggregate, anonymised)
• IP address (for security and fraud prevention only)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the AutoBlot Studio service
• To authenticate your identity and secure your account
• To process payments via Stripe
• To send important service notifications (e.g. subscription renewals, security alerts)
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Image and Research Data

Your uploaded blot images and analysis results are stored securely and are accessible only to you. We do not use your research data to train machine learning models, share it with third parties, or access it except to provide the service or when required by law.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and analysis data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@autoblot.co.uk. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

5. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (via Clerk). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate AutoBlot Studio:

• Clerk — user authentication
• Supabase — secure data storage
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights under applicable data protection law (including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR):
